Rodeo Austin Arts Committee

Just finished my first year as chairman of the Competitive Arts Committee for Rodeo Austin. Our final act was to judge and place 140 entrants and have a Q and A with attending students. I’d Like to thank Dalhart Windberg, Sam Yeates, Gilbert Sauceda, Mike Etie, and Will Harris for judging the digital art, photography and traditional art. Thanks to Roger Beasley Audi for sponsoring event and supplying a showcase at the Quattro Gallery.

Longhorn Painting Title Finalist – Pick the Winner

We asked, you responded. Here are the finalist in the “name Robert’s latest longhorn painting contest”. (Okay, it really wasn’t a contest, but maybe we can gift the winner with a print of the image once complete.) Anyway, as you can see, some suggestions were tacky wacky (thanks Ed), some were blue (in more ways than one) thanks to the blue bonnets no doubt, and some were personal (Make Dust, you know who you are). Choose the best of the titles and remember this may end up on your wall.
