Willie Nelson Sculpture – In Progress

I’m working on a sculpture of Willie Nelson for reasons that are hush, hush right now. I haven’t sculpted in 25+ years and am really enjoying it. Keep in mind these picture show the sculpture in progress.

Triple Crown Artwork “3 Kings”

3 Kings acrylic painting on canvas by Robert Hurst

3 Kings acrylic painting on canvas by Robert Hurst

Secretariat, Seattle Slew, Affirmed, three names in horse racing that ring of royalty. Ron Turcotte, Jean Cruguet, Steve Cauthen, the three jockeys who directed those stallions to horse racing’s highest pinnacle, The Triple Crown. There hasn’t been a Triple Crown winner since 1978, asserting the rareness of this achievement.

Own a piece of history. The artist, Robert Hurst, in conjunction with Fiterman Sports Group will offer for a limited time a very  limited edition of  canvas giclees of 3 Kings autographed by all three jockeys. (A giclee is the state of the art reproduction of the original painting.) Signing photos and certificate of authenticity included.

Suggested retail price: TBD

Longhorn Painting Title Finalist – Pick the Winner

Untitled Longhorn Painting

Untitled Longhorn Painting

We asked, you responded. Here are the finalist in the “name Robert’s latest longhorn painting contest”. (Okay, it really wasn’t a contest, but maybe we can gift the winner with a print of the image once complete.) Anyway, as you can see, some suggestions were tacky wacky (thanks Ed), some were blue (in more ways than one) thanks to the blue bonnets no doubt, and some were personal (Make Dust, you know who you are). Choose the best of the titles and remember this may end up on your wall.

Dallas Mavericks Championship Painting and Prints Coming Soon

The Maverick’s “Won and DONE!” Championship painting is in progress. It’s has some pretty cool elements if I say so myself; an evening city scape, hands on the trophy, Dirk Nowitzki game-two winning finger roll, Kidd and Terry. I’ll post pictures soon. The painting is available (contact me if interested at 512-444-7661 or hurst@adamnfineartist.com). Prints of the artwork will be available for pre-order soon. In the mean time go to Facebook to make suggestion on elements to  include in the artwork.
